The Washington Arts Alliance who runs the Washington County Open Studio Tours has an outreach program, providing students (mentee's) an opportunity to mentor with one of the artists in the area. This year I gave it a go, and I mentored a young woman who enjoyed making some silver jewelry. Who knows, I may decide to teach more students. If she is available, she may be showing her work at my studio during the open studio tour!
