Lake Oswego Open Studio Tour Oct 14/15, 2023

Posted by Denise Hershey on Sep 8th 2023

I am excited to be joining in on the Lake Oswego Open Studio Tour on Oct 14/15. I will have my tent set up in the lovely back yard of Ha Austin – Studio #7 on the tour.

The tour is a free self-guided Artist Studio Tour in the cities of Lake Oswego and West Linn. Go to www.lakeoswegoopenstudios.org for details. There will be 45 artists in 34 locations.

Plan to spend the weekend going to as many studios as you can!

Many studios are hosting other artists like myself.

There are two-dimensional artists of all kinds, as well as three-dimensional artists like sculptors, wood workers, potters, and jewelry artists from the area. There is something for everybody on your list.

I hope to see you there!

Here's the announcement:

Come Join Us!

October 14 - 15, 2023 10am - 5pm
An open studio tour is an annual event that provides an opportunity for artists to present their art, their studios and themselves to the public.

Over 45 artists! Painting, fiber arts, jewelry, wood working and pottery, are just a few of the kinds of art being demonstrated and shown.

This free, family friendly event invites the community to visit artists' studios and see how they work.

How to Take the Tour

Browse Our Website

We've updated and improved our website, and have provided several ways for you to plan your visit.

Start by visiting our Participating Artists page. There you will find 3 options to help you plan a perfect day immersed in the arts.

OPTION 1: At the top of the page, each artist's name is linked to a page devoted to them.

OPTION 2: Just below that, you may click to a page that lists artists by media. (Some artists will be listed under more than one media.)

OPTION 3: Scroll down to see an entry for each artist, listed in alphabetical order by their first name. Each entry includes an image, a short description of their work, their studio number with and a link to a map.

Check Out the Maps

Next, visit our Map to Artists page. There you will find an interactive map that will guide you to where the artist studios are located.

If you prefer to go with paper, we have provided 2 printable maps (one of Lake Oswego, one of West Linn). Additionally, we have provided a printable list of artists, organized by studio number.

* Remember that some artists are sharing studio space for the tour, so some numbers will have more than one artist associated with it.

Visit As Many Studios As You Like

Artist studios are casual, unstuffy environments. It is a wonderful way to meet the artists, relax and converse with them. Each artist has an interesting story to tell about how and why they became an artist. Each artist has unique techniques and practices they would love to share.
